Totally loving this duvet so far. The outer fabric is super soft and thin. Yeah, it's a bit wrinkly right now, but I know the drill—with fabric this high-quality, those creases disappear once it breathes. The attention to detail is great, and there are plenty of baffle boxes to keep the down in place, so no more morning 'puffy-shuffling.' A friend pointed me toward GUVAR; she’s obsessed with hers and says it just keeps getting fluffier with time. Only the real deal (real down) can do that, right?
I’m in love with this all-season duvet! It’s all wrinkled from the bag, but I’m diving in anyway. My thermostat is set to 75°F and this is the absolute sweet spot—it’s so remarkably lightweight, almost weightless, but surprisingly cozy. The fabric is soft and dead silent. It’s 100% white goose down, which is a total win. Can't wait for the Philly rain to clear up so I can sun it outside and see it reach its full, fluffy potential. If you want something super light yet comfy, this is it
using the All-Season duvet inside a heavy %100 cotton flannel cover for 1 week now and it has been wonderful. This cozy combination of cotton and down has been plenty warm despite how lightweight it feels. It really is like snuggling under a cloud. I'm glad we opted for the all-season weight as I hope we'll be able to adjust the level of warmth by using different types of breathable fabric covers as the seasons change.
we were layered up with quilt+blankets and still not quite warm enough. Our area has cold winters, so I was worried we would end up wanting the winter weight duvet instead, or would need to throw extra blankets over it…
Being All-Season weight, this is not an extremely thick/puffy duvet. The baffle box walls are about 1/2 inch thick, and that is the overall thickness of the duvet, so it does not add a lot of bulk to the bed. I feel that the product picture is a fair representation of how how full the All-Season duvet is without a cover on.
It passed the sniff test with flying colors: 0 goose smell, no detectable odors at all. If you hold the duvet up against the light you can see the shadow of down clusters inside it, there are no feathers! Our duvet has a few grey down clusters here and there which we don't mind. The smooth fabric is sewn with very fine and neat stitching with no loose threads or sloppy seams anywhere. It definitely looks and feels like it is made to last.
The duvet is vacuum-packed into a solid brick (!) and comes with a nicely made storage bag should you need it. There were a few loose down clusters in the package, these were just strays rather than duvet-escapees so it was nice to see them in person. We unpacked the duvet and shook it out, and it puffed up quite well. We left it out for a couple days to finish decompressing.
Yes, I would definitely recommend this product! I did extensive research on available duvets and this one had the right features within our price range. At the time it was one of the only products to list the actual fill power and weight of the duvet, promise to be made with down clusters and no feathers, and have a plain white cotton shell.
It comes vacuum sealed. After opening the package and following care instructions it went from flat to nice and fluffy. Working in the hotel industry for many years, I've grown accustomed to quality down comforters. So I did a lot of research looking for the proper fill material. Fill weight. Tog. And something warm enough for cold Winters in Ohio, but cool enough for summer. And the all season is perfect with a velour cover for winter and cotton for summer. Definitely recommending to friends!
Very happy with the comforter! The all-season is more reminiscent of a down blanket, but after fluffing up a bit it’s about 1/2-3/4” thick. Cover is very soft to the touch and it sleeps comfortably warm without really cooking you like a big fluffy comforter can do! Works great in cooler temps, but I’d add a heavy blanket or go with the Winter version of this product if you live somewhere where the weather gets really cold!
